Fly Fishing’s future needs to be controlled by the entire industry in a
democratic way. UTAFF will be lead by a board, but all the decisions
will be made when the majority vote of members is tabulated. The
board will meet and review issues suggested by the association’s
members. The best ideas will be posted on the web where each
member can return their vote for or against a posted item. Board
members will not decide what fly fishing needs, you will, all of you!
UTAFF will then post the results of the membership vote on the web
and begin to implement the decision that received the majority’s
support. This plan will prohibit a small board ruling the entire industry
and return control and responsibility to each individual that is
dedicated to the fly fishing trade.
